1. Introduction and Acceptance

By using the Mü'min360 application ("Application"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Türk Otağ ("Company", "we", "us", "our").

If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the application.

1.1. About the Application

Mü'min360 is a comprehensive Islamic mobile application that helps Muslims track their daily worship, view prayer times, and support their spiritual development.

2. Terms of Use

2.1. Age Requirement

Our application is suitable for all age groups. Users under 18 are recommended to use the application under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2.2. Account Requirements

Mü'min360 does not require account creation or registration. You can start using the application immediately after downloading.

2.3. Device Requirements

  • iOS: iOS 13.0 or later

  • Android: Android 6.0 (API 23) or later

  • Relevant device permissions are required for location services, compass sensor, and notifications.

2.4. Internet Connection

The application mostly works offline. However, an internet connection may be required for:

  • Quran verses and translations

  • Hijri calendar date verification

  • Application updates

  • Premium purchases

3. Application Features

3.1. Prayer Times

  • Prayer times are calculated locally on your device using astronomical calculation methods

  • Supported calculation methods: Turkish Diyanet, Egypt, Karachi, ISNA, MWL, Umm al-Qura

  • The times provided are for reference purposes and may differ from official times determined by local religious authorities

Important: Prayer times are for informational purposes only. For official prayer times, please consult your local mosque or religious authority.

3.2. Qibla Direction

  • Qibla direction is determined using your device's compass sensor and GPS location

  • Calculation is based on the coordinates of the Kaaba (21.4225° N, 39.8262° E)

  • Accuracy may vary depending on sensor calibration and magnetic interference

  • Device calibration is the user's responsibility

3.3. Holy Quran

  • All 114 Surahs are provided in Arabic text

  • Turkish, English, and Arabic translations are available

  • Verse search and surah detail viewing features

3.4. Dhikr and Tasbih

  • Digital tasbih counter

  • Pre-defined dhikr collections (daily, morning-evening, after prayer)

  • Custom dhikr creation option

  • Vibration and sound feedback

  • Dhikr statistics and progress tracking

3.5. Duas (Prayers)

  • Duas from the Quran (Rabbana duas)

  • Sunnah duas

  • Daily duas (eating, sleeping, traveling, etc.)

  • Arabic text, transliteration, and translation

3.6. Asma al-Husna

  • The 99 Beautiful Names of Allah

  • Meaning and explanation of each name

  • Arabic writing and pronunciation

3.7. Tahajjud and Night Worship

  • Tahajjud prayer tracking

  • Pre-dawn (Sahar) notifications

  • Night worship statistics

  • 40-day Tahajjud challenge

3.8. Spiritual Journal

  • Daily contemplation and reflection records

  • Mood tracking

  • Spiritual goal setting

  • View past entries

3.9. Spiritual Journeys

  • Guided spiritual development programs (Patience, Gratitude, Trust in Allah, Repentance, Sincerity)

  • Daily tasks and content

  • Progress tracking

3.10. Hijri Calendar

  • Hijri date display

  • Important Islamic days and nights

  • Blessed day notifications

3.11. Friday Hub

  • Surah Al-Kahf reading tracker

  • Friday salawat counter

  • Friday sunnah checklist

  • Friday hadiths

3.12. Contemplation (Tafakkur)

  • Guided contemplation sessions

  • Reflection on Quran verses

  • Nature and creation contemplation

3.13. Notifications

  • Prayer time reminders

  • Tahajjud/pre-dawn notifications

  • Friday reminders

  • Dhikr reminders

  • Customizable notification settings

4. Third-Party Services and APIs

The application uses the following third-party services:

4.1. AlQuran.cloud API

  • Purpose: Fetching Quran verses, surahs, and translations

  • Data: Arabic text, Turkish/English translations, transliteration

  • Provider: Islamic Network

  • Privacy: No user identification is shared

4.2. Aladhan API

  • Purpose: Hijri calendar date conversion

  • Data: Date information only

  • Provider: Aladhan.com

  • Privacy: No user data is shared

4.3. RevenueCat

  • Purpose: In-app purchase and subscription management

  • Data: Anonymous user ID, purchase history

  • Privacy: Subject to RevenueCat privacy policy

4.4. Expo Push Notifications

  • Purpose: Notification delivery

  • Data: Anonymous device token

  • Privacy: Subject to Expo privacy policy

4.5. Google AdMob

  • Purpose: Advertisement display (free version)

  • Data: Advertising ID, device information

  • Privacy: Subject to Google privacy policy

  • Note: Ads are removed with Premium subscription

5. Data Collection and Privacy

5.1. Data Stored Locally

The following data is stored ONLY on your device and is NOT sent to our servers:

  • Prayer tracking records

  • Dhikr counts and statistics

  • Journal entries

  • Spiritual journey progress

  • Tahajjud statistics

  • App preferences and settings

  • Makeup prayer (Qaza) records

5.2. Location Data Processing

  • Location data is processed ONLY on the device

  • Latitude/longitude is used for prayer time calculation

  • Location is used for Qibla direction calculation

  • Location data is NOT sent to servers

5.3. Data Shared with Third Parties

  • AlQuran.cloud: Only verse/surah requests (no user identification)

  • Aladhan: Only date queries

  • RevenueCat: Anonymous purchase data

  • Google AdMob: Ad personalization data (optional)

5.4. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Name, surname, email address

  • Phone number

  • Photos or media files

  • Contact list

  • Browsing history

  • Social media information

6. Device Permissions

6.1. Location (Required)

  • To calculate prayer times

  • To determine Qibla direction

  • Location data is not sent outside the device

6.2. Notifications (Optional)

  • For prayer time reminders

  • For Tahajjud/pre-dawn notifications

  • For Friday and important day reminders

6.3. Vibration (Optional)

  • For dhikr counter feedback

  • For notification alerts

7. License and Intellectual Property

7.1. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Application for personal and non-commercial purposes.

7.2. Restrictions

The following are prohibited:

  • Copying, modifying, or distributing the Application

  • Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code from the Application

  • Sublicensing, renting, or lending the Application

  • Creating derivative works from the Application

  • Using the Application for illegal purposes

  • Attempting to bypass or disable security measures

7.3. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application and all its content (design, graphics, texts, icons, logos) are the exclusive property of Türk Otağ and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.4. Third-Party Content Licenses

  • Quran text: Public domain

  • Quran translations: Subject to respective translators'/institutions' licenses

  • Hadiths: Compiled from reliable sources

  • Open source components: React Native, Expo, and related libraries are subject to their own licenses

8. Premium Features and Payments

8.1. Free Features

The core features of Mü'min360 are provided free of charge:

  • Prayer times and notifications

  • Qibla direction

  • Basic dhikr and dua

  • Hijri calendar

8.2. Premium Features

The following additional features are offered with Premium subscription:

  • Ad-free experience

  • Advanced statistics

  • Custom themes

  • Priority support

  • Access to all future premium features

8.3. Subscription Terms

  • Monthly Subscription: Automatically renews each month

  • Yearly Subscription: Automatically renews each year

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID/Google account upon purchase confirmation

  • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

  • Renewal fee is charged to your account 24 hours before the period ends

8.4. Subscription Management

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

  • Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period

  • No partial refunds for active period

8.5. Refunds

Refund requests are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.

9. User Obligations

9.1. Acceptable Use

Users must:

  • Use the Application only for lawful purposes

  • Respect the rights of others

  • Not disrupt the normal operation of the Application

  • Not upload harmful software or code

  • Not spread false or misleading information

9.2. Prohibited Actions

  • Misusing or abusing the Application

  • Negatively affecting other users' experience

  • Analyzing the Application for commercial competition purposes

  • Using automated tools or bots

  • Attempting unauthorized access to servers or infrastructure

10. Disclaimer and Warranty

10.1. "As Is" Provision

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available." No express or implied warranties are provided.

10.2. Accuracy

The accuracy of the following is not guaranteed:

  • Prayer times (for reference only, consult local authorities for official times)

  • Qibla direction (depends on sensor accuracy)

  • Hijri calendar dates (may vary based on moon sighting)

  • Quran translations (translations are human interpretations attempting to convey meaning)

10.3. Religious Advice

  • The Application does not provide religious counseling or fatwa services

  • Islamic content is for informational purposes

  • The ultimate authority on religious matters is local scholars and religious institutions

10.4. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Application.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Türk Otağ shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Application. This limitation covers:

  • Situations arising from incorrect prayer times

  • Qibla direction calculation errors

  • Data loss

  • Business interruption

  • Loss of profit

12. Termination

The user may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting the Application from their device. In the event of a violation of these Terms, access may be terminated without prior notice.

13. Changes

These Terms may be updated. For significant changes:

  • An in-app notification will be sent

  • Updates take effect when published on this page

  • Continuing to use the application after changes means you accept the new terms

14. Governing Law

These Terms are subject to the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes shall be under the jurisdiction of the Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices.

15. Apple App Store Additional Terms

If the Application was downloaded from the Apple App Store:

  • Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies

  • Apple is not responsible for maintenance and support

  • Apple does not provide product warranty

  • Third-party intellectual property claims are not Apple's responsibility

  • Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement

16. Google Play Store Additional Terms

If the Application was downloaded from the Google Play Store:

  • Google Play Terms of Service apply

  • Google is not responsible for the maintenance and support of the application

17. Open Source Licenses

The application uses the following open source technologies:

  • React Native (MIT License)

  • Expo (MIT License)

  • Adhan.js - Prayer time calculation (MIT License)

  • i18next - Multi-language support (MIT License)

  • Zustand - State management (MIT License)

18. General Provisions

  • The invalidity of any provision does not affect the remaining provisions

  • Failure to exercise any right does not constitute a waiver of that right

  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement

  • The original language of this document is Turkish; in case of conflict between translations and the Turkish text, the Turkish text prevails
