1. Introduction and General Information

As Mümin360 (“Application”, “we”, “our”), we place great importance on the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is collected, processed, stored, and protected when you use our Application.

This policy has been prepared in compliance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Apple App Store Guidelines, and Google Play Store Policies.

By downloading and using the Application, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Policy.

2. Data We Collect

2.1. Automatically Collected Data

  • Location Data: We use your device’s GPS coordinates to calculate accurate prayer times and determine the Qibla direction. This data is processed locally on your device only.

  • Device Sensor Data: Magnetometer (compass) and gyroscope data are used for the Qibla compass feature.

  • Device Identifiers: Anonymous device identifiers may be used to monitor application performance.

2.2. Data Provided by the User

  • Prayer records

  • Daily entries (spiritual notes)

  • Dhikr (remembrance) counts

  • Application preferences (theme, notification settings, calculation method)

  • Goals and statistics

2.3. Data We Do Not Collect

  • Name, email address, or phone number

  • Payment or financial information

  • Photos, contacts, or media files

  • Social media account information

  • Health or biometric data

3. Purposes of Data Use

Collected data is used for the following purposes:

  • Calculating prayer times

  • Determining the Qibla direction

  • Sending notifications

  • Storing user preferences

  • Improving application performance

  • Fulfilling legal obligations

4. Data Storage and Local Processing

All personal data is stored only on your device.
Data is not transferred to servers, cloud systems, or third parties.

  • All data is permanently deleted when the application is removed

  • Location data is processed instantly and not stored

  • Device backups (iCloud / Google Drive) are subject to the policies of the relevant platforms

5. Data Security

  • Data is encrypted at the device level

  • iOS Keychain and Android Keystore are used

  • Neither third parties nor employees have access to your data

  • Users are informed in the event of a security breach

6. Device Permissions

  • Location: Prayer times and Qibla direction

  • Notifications: Prayer time reminders

  • Motion sensors: Compass functionality

All permissions can be managed through your device settings.

7. Third-Party Services

  • Expo: Application updates

  • React Native: Open-source framework

  • Adhan library: Prayer time calculations

No analytics, advertising, or tracking tools are used.

8. Children’s Privacy

  • No data is knowingly collected from children under the age of 13

  • No account creation is required

  • No targeted advertising is displayed

Mümin360 is a mobile application and does not use cookies.
Tracking, fingerprinting, or advertising identifiers are not used.

12. Premium Features and Payments

The application is currently free of charge.
Any future in-app purchases will be subject to the policies of the relevant app stores.

13. Data Breach Procedure
