I. Data controller

This text explains, transparently, what personal data Türkotağ Atelier (turkotag.com) processes as a data controller, for what purpose, and on what legal basis. The Atelier embraces the discipline of collecting little; what is collected, however, is kept with care.

II. Data collected

The contact form collects your name, email address and, optionally, company information, budget horizon and message. For page statistics we use Plausible (cookieless, anonymous); the service does not store your IP, does not fingerprint you, and shares nothing with third parties.

III. Purposes of processing

We use the data we collect only for: (a) replying to your enquiry, (b) evaluating a possible engagement, (c) fulfilling the Atelier’s legal obligations. Marketing use, third-party sharing and profiling are not performed.

IV. Legal basis

Processing rests on the necessity for the conclusion or performance of a contract (Article 5(2)(c) of Türkiye’s KVKK) and on legitimate interest (Article 5(2)(f)). No processing relies on your explicit consent.

V. Retention period

Contact data is retained for two years after the last correspondence and then deleted irreversibly. If an active engagement begins, data is retained for the term of the relevant contract and afterwards for the period required by law.

VI. Data security

Your data is collected over encrypted communication (HTTPS) and held in an encrypted mailbox (Resend + Fastmail). Server access is restricted by two-factor authentication. In the event of a breach, in line with KVKK Article 12(5), we will notify you without delay and report to the Authority.

VII. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11, you have the right to access your data, request correction, request deletion, object to processing, prevent transfer abroad and object to automated decisions. Send your request in writing to hello@turkotag.com; we reply by hand within thirty days.

VIII. International transfer

We use Resend (email delivery, USA), Vercel (hosting, USA) and Plausible (analytics, EU). Such transfers are made in accordance with KVKK Article 9, to countries providing adequate protection or under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
