In return for use consistent with these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes. The scope of and restrictions on this licence are set out in detail in the separately published End User Licence Agreement (EULA).

The Application’s content, design, source code, graphics, brand and logos are the exclusive property of Türk Otağ and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property legislation.
5. Qur’an and Hadith Content
The Qur’an text is based on the Ottoman/Uthmani script edition obtained from the open AlQuran.cloud API. For Turkish translation, users may choose amongst several options (the Diyanet translation, Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır, Yaşar Nuri Öztürk, the Diyanet Foundation and others).
Qur’an recitation audio is provided via AlQuran.cloud within the scope of the reciters’ copyright permissions; commercial redistribution is prohibited.
Hadith content is compiled from the Riyāḍ al-Ṣāliḥīn collection via the open HadeethEnc.com API.
Qur’an and hadith content is presented to the highest standard of accuracy we can achieve. If you find any error, please report it to contact@turkotag.com.
6. Prayer Times and Qibla Accuracy — Important Notice
- Prayer times are determined by mathematical/astronomical calculation and are for reference only. For official times, consult the Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) or your local mufti’s office.
- The qibla direction depends on your device’s magnetometer and may be affected by magnetic fields; calibrate your device for precise measurement.
- The Application does not provide religious counselling or fatwa services; its content is for information only. The final authority on religious matters rests with local scholars and competent religious institutions.
- Small differences in prayer times are normal, depending on the calculation method and location.
7. Premium Subscription and Payments
The Application operates on a freemium model; premium membership is managed through the Apple App Store / Google Play Store subscription systems via the RevenueCat infrastructure.

- If you breach these Terms, your access to the Application may be terminated without prior notice.
- Upon termination, all your local data is deleted automatically when the Application is removed from the device.

12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
- The “Last Updated” date is revised.
- Significant changes are announced via in-app notification.
- Continuing to use the Application after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
